As someone sorely lacking in kitchen space, I'm intensely covetous of the Galley Sink, a cleverly-designed system that greatly maximizes the functionality of a limited footprint.
The idea is simple: Two steps along each lengthwise edge allow you to slide a variety of accessories back and forth as needed, ranging from cutting boards to container-holding cutouts to racks and even a portable induction-style burner. Check it out:
