As most lamps are bulbs that are covered with some kind of shade, the Turbine is turned inside-out. The light source is placed in periphery of the lamp and pointed inwards. The name Turbine emphasizes the concept of the lamp, as the light is sucked in towards the centre, for then to be spread out into the room.
